The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is #BreakTheBias. This highlights both the individual and collective biases against women that fuel gender inequality.

History of Women’s Day

International Women’s Day (IWD) is observed annually on March 8 and is a global day to celebrate the improvements made towards agender equal world whilst recognizing the achievements of women.

On this International Women’s Day, let’s notice the biases that have mattered for each and every one of us for a long time. Today is about being aware of the challenges that women are dealing with, and especially the prejudices they are facing.

Collectively breaking the bias

Despite all the actions for a gender equal world, bias still influences people’s minds and puts people in boxes which limits gender equality. By breaking biases, we forge equality to reach a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination.

We, at Airbus, foster diversity and inclusion.

We asked our colleagues from around the world - how could we #BreakTheBias?

And what about you? How can you #BreakTheBias?
