Room 146A/B

Panel: Scaling Up Satellite Manufacturing Capabilities | Mr Jean-Marc Nasr, Executive Vice President & Head of Space Systems

Projected satellite demand in the coming years envisions no less than 1,700 satellites being launched every year. Satellite manufacturers see new opportunities with increasing demand driven by small satellites and constellations for both commercial and government users. On the other side, legacy business like GEO comsats has slowed down due to change in the end-users habit towards more data-centric use cases. In this context, satellite manufacturers are adapting their plants to both flexibility and scalability to cope with market changes and seize tomorrow's opportunities.
