The Skynet 6A contract signed in July 2020, will involve the development, manufacture, cyber protection, assembly, integration, test and launch, of the military communications satellite planned for launch in 2025.

Team Maier & Australian Space
Airbus has formed Team Maier and will partner with key Australian space and technology companies, and academia, as it launches its solution to Joint Project (JP) 9102 to provide a complete Defence Satellite Communications System.
